Fuller Fire & Safety Equipment Inc. has the ability and technology to provide a barcode inventory scanning system that allows us to perform detailed inspections for our customers that compiles a list of important information including location, agent, size, serial numbers, and scheduled maintenance records. This detailed report allows our customers to know their scheduled maintenance cycles, and it allows for budgeting years in advance.

Upon completion of the inspection, a new tamper seal and service tag will be attached and your extinguishers will be code compliant for the period of one year. This service work meets NFPA 10 requirements. We also specialize in performing fire extinguisher training for our customers and their employees including live burn hands-on training.

Types of Fire Extinguishers

Dry Chemical

ABC Dry Chemical is a multipurpose extinguishing agent that is coded for Class A, Class B, and Class C fires.

ABC fire extinguishers are for public areas such as offices, schools, shopping centers, churches, grocery stores, parking garages, and hotels. They are also suitable apartments and homes.

Wet Chemical-
Class K

Wet Chemical-Class K fire extinguishers are suitable for high-temperature fires that involve cooking oils and greases in places such as restaurant, school, and hospital kitchens.

These fire extinguishers are required to be in every kitchen that has a kitchen hood system per NFPA  10.

Wheeled unit fire extinguishers

Portable Dry Chemical wheeled extinguishers  are available for Class A, Class B, and Class C fires.

They are typically used on offshore rigs, ship docks, refineries, chemical plants, aircraft ramps, remote construction sites, large lab, processing plants, and storage areas.

Portable Carbon Dioxide

Portable Carbon Dioxide wheeled extinguishers are coded for use on Class B and Class C fires.

Typical uses include protecting sensitive electronic equipment in refineries, shipboard, laboratories, construction sites, chemical plants and manufacturing facilities.

Purple K

Purple K extinguishers are compact and porta­ble extinguishers that meet the needs to combat fires involving flammable liquids, gases and greases.

Purple K fire extinguishers are widely used in the petroleum industry and in other areas where the fire risk is high. Purple-K is more effective in extinguisher applications than carbon dioxide and more than twice as effective as sodium bicarbonate-based extinguishers.

Class D

Class D fire extinguishers are specifically designed for use on combustible metal fires in places such as plants, buildings, and warehouses where combustible fires might occur.

Typical use for class D fire extinguishers include fires involving magnesium, sodium, potassium and sodium-potassium alloys.

Water Mist

Water Mist fire extinguisher provide effective and economical protection for common combustible fires. The Water Mist unit uses deionized water and incorporates a unique spray nozzle, making it safe for use on energized electrical equipment and is considered to be the #1 extinguisher choice for libraries and hospitals.

Halotron

Halotron is a clean, non-conductive gaseous agent that is an excellent replacement for Halon 1211 extinguishers. Halotron is suitable for use on Class A, Class B, and Class C fires.

Halotron fire extinguishers are typically used for protecting sensitive electronic equipment in offices, classrooms, etc.
