Low pressure co2 systems

Fuller Fire & Safety Equipment, Inc. specializes in designing, engineering, installing, and maintaining High and Low Pressure CO2 systems for all businesses including manufacturing and industrial plants. Carbon dioxide is odorless, colorless, and is not only widely available, but also electrically non-conductive. It is able to extinguish a fire quickly by lowering the amount of oxygen present in a hazard area, making it so it will no longer support combustion. This form of fire suppression is extremely effective and creates very little clean-up, and is typically used to protect flammable gas and liquid storage areas, rolling mills, ovens, process equipment, printing presses, industrial chicken fryers, peanut roasters, gas turbine engines, engine rooms, and much more.

Low pressure CO2 is a good alternative for CO2 systems that require a large amount of storage, or where there may be frequent discharges. A big advantage to low pressure CO2 is that one tank can protect multiple hazard areas. The low pressure system consists of liquid CO2 stored in an a pressure vessel which is equipped with a refrigeration system. The pressure inside the vessel is kept around 300 psi by maintaining a low internal temperature. A manually operated tank shut-off valve, is fitted to the storage unit, and the distribution of CO2 is accomplished through a selector valve which can be controlled electronically or manually. The carbon dioxide is then disbursed to the protected space(s) through a piping network and discharge nozzles to quickly get the fire under control.

High pressure CO2 systems

Carbon dioxide is odorless, colorless, and is not only widely available, but also electrically non-conductive. These carbon dioxide systems will suppress fire in Class A, B, and C hazards by displacing the oxygen that supports combustion. This form of fire suppression is extremely effective and creates very little clean-up, and is often used to protect flammable gas and liquid storage areas, rolling mills, ovens, process equipment, printing presses, industrial chicken fryers, peanut roasters and much more.

We can supply high pressure tanks for many industrial applications. They are particularly effective for non-occupied hazard locations, and can be designed for specific fire hazards to meet your needs. High pressure tanks vary in size from 35 lbs up to 120 lbs, and can be manifolded together to allow for a simultaneous, rapid release creating a quick and effective form of fire suppression.
